| I've used this unit for about a month. I liked the 4.8'' screen and the ease of use. I also found the Navteq maping software to be very accurite at locating normal street addresses. It was sometimes harder to find addresses on state routes, US highways or odd street numbers or names. It has a very rich data base of POI's to search. The main thing I did not like was the ''Autozoom'' feature didn't work very well, and the bluetooth feature was sometimes difficult to understand. Though it doesn't have all the ''bells-and-wistles'' of some other units it doesn't have there high price tags either. Good price for a unit with a 4.8'' screen. |

| This gps sucks badly, don not buy. One would think that a sony product would be a good investment as i have had several sony products in the past and no problems, ok back to this unit,first of all i put in 5 different addresses of places that have been around for several years and this ubit could not find them, secondly the the traffic is free for the first 90 days, and would never work and when it did it would loose signal right away and i live in one of the areas that it covers. as far as the gps portion, it took a long time for it to get a signal and would not recalculate until you are 1/4 mile past a missed turn, the menu is very hard to get through, I had got this unit on a saturday and promply returned it on monday night and went with my original choice the Garmin 260W, ever heard that phrase get garmin or get lost, well the garmin works GREAT. DO NOT THIS SONY UNIT AS IT IS JUNK, sorry sony but this product SUCKS BADLY........ |
